How to use back to top

In ambulances, helicopters, etc. on stand-by, even if stand-by is for several days, it is recommended to have the Infusion Pressor ready for use, with infusion bag inserted as illustrated.  By pulling the strap and connecting the infusion set, infusion can be administered within seconds.

To administer infusion under very cold weather conditions, the infusion bag can be heated by placing two chemical thermo bags on both external sides of the Infusion Pressor.

Keep the thermo bags in place by rolling the strap around.

Step 1 : Release the strap by pivoting the buckle, open the lateral clamps.  This permits the plates to swing apart.

Step 2 : Insert hand through central sleeve and pull bag into sleeve.

Step 3 : Pull strap to close the pressor and close lateral clamps.

Step 4 : Insert infusion set spike in pressurized infusion bag.
